Information regarding deliveries during the current situation.
Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus.
From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels.
This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water.
Royal Mail and the Courier companies are actively monitoring this rapidly evolving situation.
Signing for and receiving items.
In order to protect both the delivery people and customers as much as possible, delivery companies will not be handing over the hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures.
Postmen and women will instead log the name of the person accepting the item. This will apply to all deliveries that require a signature.
As of 24th July 2019 we are no longer able to supply electrical goods to the Republic of Ireland. This is in response to the Irish Environment Protection Agency forcing UK retailers to manage the recycling of such items via a complex and expensive WEEE scheme. As a result, we have had to remove the Republic of Ireland from our website shipping destination list.
We can still supply non-electrical items to the Republic of Ireland by mail order, please phone our sales team on +44 1943 466535.
We apologies for any inconvenience caused to our Irish customers. Existing back orders and warranty claims will be honoured.
