ABSIMA presents the DDR-01 2WD Drift Car
This awesome chassis is a partnership project which is designed and co-operated by D1 and SN-RC. The whole team was spending over a year to tackle problems and finally completed a series of new functional designs. Adding all these special features and ideas, it made more perfection while doing different drift moves and swinging
Car frame has "classic black" and "brillian red" color for selection. It comes with anodized metal parts, fibre plate and titanium screws.
Chassis width is 190mm. Maximum steering can reach up to 85°. Under this unique innovation design (oversized steering) it`s more flexible and easily to match with different types of bodies and able to create more different playing ways.
Ball Bearing Steering Unit:
Steering block is WITHOUT c-hub. Inside caster 8° and rear caster 4° - 16° is able to adjust through steering setup. Rotating parts are mainly composed 4x 5*8*2.5F flange ball bearing.
To achieve the maximum steering, it`s using caster 4° - 16° multi angle steering block. Setup easy adjustable.
Suspension arm is installed at center position, so the steering works more accurate and smoother.
In order to ensure and stabilize the car balance and also prevent axis interferences while servo is shifting, the team invented a built-in (low profile) servo position at center axis.
Motor is purposely placed at rear drive. Together with oversized gear (2.6-8.9T) drifting is absolutely easy, no matter movement is forwards or backwards.
New designed "cross-cutting" style shock absorbers. Characteristic: Front shock absorbers are 49mm and rear shock absorbers are 57mm. Shock piston would not caused friction with shock body.
In order to keep the car drifting, front shock absorber is advised to use 21mm springs and rear shock absorbers is adviced to use 30mm springs. 4 complete sets of springs are included for a perfect setup.
Battery is fixed at center position. Shorty packs (96mm) and also regular stick packs (139mm) fit perfectly, no matter if placed in horizontal or vertical position.
Requires: Radio Control System with 1 Servo, Electronic Speed Controller (ESC), Motor, 7.2v Battery & Charger, Bodyshell and suitable Paint for the Bodyshell, Pinion Gear, Tools for Assembly.
