Models are powered by Electric motors, Nitro or Petrol engines


An Electric powered model is the most popular choice at entry level.
Nitro and Petrol powered models require more user application, and are not suitable for young children.

Scale
There are quite a number of different scale categories, the most popular being 1/10th or 1/8th scale.
The full range extends from 1/43rd to 1/5th scale.

Kit or RTR
Some models are available in kit form requiring full or partial construction, whereas others are supplied ready to run (RTR) with all the necessary components included and installed.
Some RTR models may require a small amount of finishing, for example bodyshell painting and fitting, whereas others are completely factory finished and ready to go.
